How to make kashimri tea pink tea recipe

Kashmiri chai is a traditional Kashmiri tea that is known for its unique pink color. It is made with a special type of tea leaves, baking soda, and milk. The baking soda reacts with the tea leaves to produce the pink color. Kashmiri chai is often served with almonds and pistachios.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons Kashmiri tea leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • Almonds and pistachios, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the Kashmiri tea leaves and baking soda.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the tea has turned a deep pink color.
  4. Stir in the milk and sugar (if using).
  5. Heat until the milk is hot, but not boiling.
  6. Pour the tea into cups and garnish with almonds and pistachios (if using).

Tips:

  • For a stronger pink color, use more baking soda.
  • If you don't have Kashmiri tea leaves, you can use regular black tea leaves. However, the tea will not be as pink.
  • You can also add other spices to the tea, such as cardamom, cinnamon, or cloves.
  • Kashmiri chai is best enjoyed hot. However, you can also make it cold by chilling it in the refrigerator.
