How to Make the Perfect Grilled Burger
Burgers are a classic American food that are loved by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. Here is a recipe for grilled burgers that will make your mouth water:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 or 85/15)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and chili powder. Mix well until evenly combined.
- Form the beef mixture into four equal-sized patties.
- Brush the patties with olive oil.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Tips:
- For juicy burgers, make sure to not overwork the meat. Overworking the meat will make the burgers tough.
- Don't press down on the burgers while they are cooking. Pressing down on the burgers will squeeze out the juices.
- If you want to add cheese to your burgers, place a slice of cheese on top of each burger after they have been flipped and cook for an additional minute or two, or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve your burgers with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and pickles.
